That is probably tru: Milk thistle works to protect the liver. Both lexapro and xanax are metabolized by the liver. Some sources report no know interaction btwn milk thistle and these meds . Other sources suggest that breast and GI sx may be related to the interaction. The theoretically may be some interaction to reduce the metabolism of these drugs, but taking MT two hrs after the dose of either med should be ok
