I have a severe ingrown toe nail on the right foot,i currently remove the nail every two weeks, however , after removing it the last time about a week ago, it remains painful and seems inflamed, i currently use a anti-bacterial and inflammatory balm?

Paronychia: You most likely have a severe infection bewtweeen the nail, cuticle and nailbed. This requires observation and possible minor surgery to decompress any pus accumulation. I would suggest a podiatrist and also try to avoid using unsterile nail clippers: boil all clippers. Dry and cealn with alcohol. Podiatry may not be your strong point. Let a pro do this.
