I recently had flue-like symptoms that have now long passed. i am left with a dry asthmatic, hindering, wheezing cough. advice will be cherished.

Normal: It is normal for a cough after the flu to linger for a few weeks. It will lessen in duration and intensity every few days and get better. It is not normal to be short of breath or have a fever though and if have any of those see someone. It is due to the irritation of the pleura. It is also not normal for it to get better and then alot worse but may wax and wane.Best to get checked out though.
