Not likely: The cough and wheezing after the flu (or any viral cold) can last up to 28 days and still be normal. If you are coughing up thick dark phlegm or still have a fever of 100.4 (38c) or higher after a week from initial onset then you should see a doctor. Otherwise just give it time.
