A member asked:

My self 30 years, currently have elevated c reactive proteim 8.5 mg/l, what is the cause?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Nonspecific: Like the Sed rate the cRP is nonspecific indication of inflammation and a history and physical may help to clarify. Why was the test done.Just doing a CRP without an indication of what you are looking for is not what the test was indicatd for.
