Just because you : went to the ER doesn't mean thorough testing was performed. The ER is not a PCP and are there more to tell you what the pain is not, not what it is. In other words, they are going to eliminate life threatening causes of your chest pain and send you to your PCP to whom I hope you have spoken. Keep in mind that many times non-verifiable complaints can't be explained to your satisfaction. See PCP
