Im 50 yrs old. i had retinaldetachmentsurg 16 days ago. im an avid weightlifter for 28yrs. prior to my eyesurg, i hurt my left intercostal rib muscles very bad while in gym. i have only taken tylenol since the surg. is it safe to take advil now?

Retinal surgery: I'm unsure that vigorous exercise so soon after retinal detachment surgery is recommended. Also your ophthalmologist is the one who can best answer when medications like Advil or aspirin should be taken. Double check about when vigorous exercise is permitted.
