Sounds like a lot: Two regular strength Advil and two regular strength Tylenol, 3 times, would equal 6 Advil and 6 Tylenol. That would mean 12 pills every 4 hours, or 72 pills every day. Maybe the dentist's instructions are confusing the patient. Best for the patient to call the dentist and verify how to take the pain-relief medication.
