Sounds like: classic METATARSALGIA ..and inflammation of one of the bones in your foot often associated with "PES PLANUS" (Flat feet) A good ORTHORTIC device in your shoe or a shoe with proper arch support may be very helpful. ICE is often useful in the meantime. My Opinion Only Hope it's helpful! Dr Z
