When laying down or sitting my heart rate can be between 50 and 60 and when waking up in the morning they can be between 40 and 55 is this ok?

Yes: A normal heart rateis 60 to 100.However if you are physically fit it can be below 60.It is almost never ok to have a rested heart rate above 100.A lower heart rate is ok if you feel fine with no dizzyness or lightheadedness or weak or short of breath ,etc.
