Cbc: A cbc also contains results of the white blood cell count and platelet count, both of which are important to know preoperatively. Your MCV level is borderline low and for evaluation we would like to know the results of the MCH or MCHC. Since you're not anemic, according to your HGB, I don't feel that the your MCV level is significant,however.
