Eventually: Foreign objects are commonly found in the ears or nose of a 2 yo. They may end up there because the kid had some ear pain or just because. If plastic, it doesn't need to come out urgently, but should when convenient. Some primary care docs have the equipment to remove it, but sometimes a 2 yo will need to be sedated to get it out (poor cooperation/fear) .
