Can a mammogram irritate a fibroadenoma?

Mammogram ?: A digital mammogram cannot "irritate" or cause a fibroadenoma, but any "breast lump" at age 52 should be evaluated by exam and mammography, and if there is breast cancer in your prime relatives history (mother, sisters, aunts on mother's side, etc.) a bilateral MRI of breasts is more accurate.
