Had a CBC and my platelet count was 253 (normal is 140-400). Dr said hard to find vein so maybe I was a little dehydrated. Does dehydration falsely raise platelet count by a lot? If so, how much? What would my platelet # be if I was better hydrated?
I recently had routine cbc. Absolute Eosinophils Came back high at 712. Wbc 7.1, rbc 4.81, hemoglobin 13.8, platelets 301, MCHC 32.2 which is borderline normal. I had cold/ little cough few days ago. Can this be leukemia or something dangerous?
Can WBC change due to dehydration? I had a CMP and CBC months ago. I was dehydrated, so some results for CMP were high (e.g., sodium) but normal for CBC. Now I took them again and everything is within notmal range. WBC is normal too but a lot lower?
Are these CBC results normal? Does anything look abnormal and is it a cause for concern? [15M, 85lbs, 55] WBC - 7.43 RBC - 5.16 HGB -15.6 HCT - 48.4 MCV - 93.8 MCH - 30.2 MCHC - 32.2 RBC DIST WIDTH - 15.3 PLATELETS, BLOOD - 227 MPV -13.1?
Are these "out of range" CBC numbers normal or cause for concern/alarm? Auto WBC 11.4(H), RBC 5.20, Hgb 12.1, Hematocrit 38.8, MCV 74.6(L), MCH 23.3(L), MCHC 31.2(L), RDW 18.3(H), Platelet Count 426(H). Would further investigation be advised?
