Depends: The first thing to ask is what the 88 old patient wants to do as that is their decision.If they want nothing done ,then it stops there because they may want no treatment.Routine blood work,Ultrasound or MRI is next.If ther are any old films the new ones should be compared to that if any changes.Depending on what is found maybe a CT or US guided biopsy is next.The specialist would be Gastro or Onco
