1 yr old has an ear infection & has on & off fever 101/102 since weds night. she's taking amoxicllin. is it normal to have a on & off fever for 4 days?

Another antibiotic: If your child started taking amoxicillin 4 days ago and is still having on and off fevers, she may have another infection somewhere else. For girls her age the most common are urine infections. Many urine infections are resistant to amoxicillin. If the fever has not resolved after three days of amoxicillin I recommend seeing a care provider again for a reevaluation.
