Expected response: Once you have a diagnosis and start treatment with this antibiotic, I expect the temperature to trend down within 36 hrs.It man not be fully normal for another day or so.If not, the germ may be a resistant one and you should call the doc.

2-3 days: It could take 2-3 days before her fever improves. However, if she has a viral illness it could be longer. If her fever has not resolved, I suggest a recheck by her Pediatrician.
