Bad ear pain in right ear. hurts more when i gently pull my earlobe down, push on the under part of the back of my ear, and with slight jaw movement.

Could be a couple...: ...of things! 1) Possible otitis externa: a painful infection of the outer part of the ear (outside the eardrum), associated with swimming (swimmers ear) and typically responds to drops. 2) TMJ: May be TMJ syndrome: painful condition of the joint where the jaw attaches. You might have popping, locking, uncomfortable with chewing. Avoid gum, chewy foods, and excessive motion. Seek help from your DO

Exam needed: This may be an infection of the ear drum( otitis media) but a physician would have to examine you to be sure. Usually antibiotics are prescribed and your pharmacist can recommend ear drops to help relieve earache. Applying heat to the ear also tends to relieve earache.
