A member asked:

My 10 year old daughter has a suspected collapsed arch. she complains every now and then of her feet being painful the one more than the other. she also has an abnormal gait.

Treatments available: Chronic foot pain in a 10 yo should be evaluated so proper treatment can be started. It may be an arch issue & if so orthotic shoe inserts can bring relief. This issue will likely only get worse without treatment as her adolescent growth/muscle mass increases put more strain on her feet.
