Wife is 30 weeks pregnant and recently went to hospital for slight contractions. when discharged, she was prescribed gitsalat. the pharmacist was concerned about this as she doesnt have blood pressure issues. want to know if its ok to use ?

This is ok,: it slows the contractions and can decrease the risk of premature delivery in some cases. I see it used for this all the time, regardless of blood pressure or not.

30w pregnant ?: Contractions which are "slight" are not uncommon at 30 weeks of pregnancy. Make sure your wife sees her OB physician if contractions continue or are stronger, for treatment to help prevent premature labor.
