How so ?: Artificial milks like almond milk are useful but a kid can get their calcium needs with a pill & never drink a milk product. A valid blood test for IgE sensitivity to milk or any food would require strict avoidance, common skin tests are less accurate. Wheat/gluten sensitivity requires you read web lists/food labels. Over time you understand the diverse permitted foods & use them.

Avoidance : Carefully avoid the foods that he is allergic to, read labels and visit websites for childhood food allergies associated with professional societies such as the AAAAI. Referral to a Pediatric Allergist who will determine the use of desensitization protocols is advised.
