Hard to tell: Measles is caused by a virus and can cause high fever, a rash on the face that spreads, and irritation of the eyes and mouth. It is not too common due to widespread immunizations in most countries. If your child has a rash again, it is unlikely to be measles. He should be seen by a doctor to figure out what he has.
