Doctor can examine: "Difficulty breathing" means a trip to see her doctor now. If she seems distressed, that means an ambulance trip (by calling 911). Difficulty breathing can be due to many different problems, and some are serious. "Purpura" is bruise-colored skin spots, and may or may not be serious, depending on why they are there. Blood tests may be needed, to see if there is a serious problem in the blood.
