Possible, not likely: Phosphoric acid is used in cosmetic products to adjust acidity. Product acidity matters more: eye injury may occur if a solution has pH<4. Without knowing the pH of your shampoo, it is hard to tell. Generally, pH level for shampoo is not strong enough to damage your eye permanently. If you get shampoo in your eyes, wash it out with cool water. If it continues to burn, speak to an eye doctor.
