Must check the heart: In such situations... a person with chest pain and left arm or hand symptoms has to go to his doctor or the ER to be checked right away for a heart attack. That means not waiting at home to see what happens next. As the saying goes, "better safe than sorry." The problem may be a heart problem, lung problem, musculoskeletal problem, etc...
