5 drinks a week : There is evidence those who drink in moderation may have better health than those who drink to excess or don't drink at all. It may reduce risk of heart disease but can increase risk of cancer and other problems. Recent research suggests overall mortality increases with more than 5 drinks a week. While benefits are questionable this level should not increase risk. See https://tinyurl.com/y7cnsqs5

None: Alcohol is a poison that never did anybody any good, ever, so stay away from it. It damages the brain, liver, heart and gonads among other organs.
