Alcohol: It is difficult to answer your question. Alcohol drinks have different strengths (alcohol content). However, on average, each drink has about 14 grams of alcohol. For men to drink more than 60 grams of alcohol per day is excessive and at risks for many complications, especially liver failure. Suggest 2 glasses of red wine for men.

He is dependent: No one starts drinking a lot in the beginning but if it is steady and daily, dependency will develop. Anybody with alcohol issues in his family?
