My dr has been testing my alt levels alot they've been elevated for over a yr. no hepatitis, ultrasound normal, never drink alcohol. still elevated.

Hepatologist: There are other causes of liver damage, e.g. any medications, including OTC and herbal remedies, autoimmune hepatitis etc. It may be time to consult a liver disease specialist. Wish you good health.

Am 70 yrs. I never drink alcohol. No medicines. No hepatitis b or c. Liver enzymes sgpt , sgot, alkalibe, gamma are normal. Can I have liver cirosis?
