A member asked:

Pain in my spine at shoulder blade height that has persisted for several days. no main event, seems strain related. what steps do you recommend?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Mid back pain: Mid back pain is a not a common area of spine pain - one should look out for non-spine related causes. While it is very possible that postural changes or twisting, which one is not aware of, can cause direct mid-back spine pain, it is often forgotten that many chest and abdominal problems refer pain to the mid back. Postural changes are the most common reason for spine-related mid back pain.
