Notalgia: If it is more to one side or the other, tingling or burning or stinging, it could be notalgia paresthetica...Nerve firing of the nerve to the skin region btwn the shoulder blades. Not great treatment, some interventionalists may inject the nerve, use topical agents, or try trigger pt injections..
