I severely sprained an ankle . ATFL is not visible on the MRI, likely due to a sprain 25 yrs ago. CFL is also "significantly compromised". Will it heal well on its own or is surgery necessary? I'm interested in the best long term results.
Had ATFL and CFL ligaments tear in April still the inside ankle swells and hurts, can't sleep at night. MRI shows that ligaments are repaired now. I've got less iron. What's delaying the healing?
