Does pregabalin work right away for anxiety or does it need to build in order to feel effect?

Pregabalin: Although it can cause drowsiness, I'm not aware of its being prescribed for anxiety. When prescribed to treat nerve pain it requires a starting dose and then, often, dosage is gradually increased after a week or so in order to achieve effective levels.
