Anxiety attack Lyric: I have not seen Lyrica (pregabalin) cause panic or anxiety episodes. Sometimes it is used to reduce anxiety in certain patients. Many patients read the side effects and research the medication on the internet, and become apprehensive - then they relate certain side effects to the medicine.
