Further treatment: There is often a complex interaction between chronic pain, anxiety, depression and stress/triggers to migraine. In general, when on chronic meds for a chronic condition and things worsen, new symptoms develop, or symptoms remain at problematic levels, its time for re-assessment and consideration fo med adjustments or additional therapies. Psychotherapy often helps migraine and anxiety.

Interestin: Lyrica (pregabalin) is used in europe to treat anxiety. One of the side effects with Lyrica (pregabalin) is headaches. It is time to talk to your doctor about switching ou to something like cymbalta.
