Keep looking: We need more specifics such as the pain's character it's severity, frequency, duration, radiation into your back or one side, is it related to eating and how, are there other symptoms such as nausea or heartburn, drugs or alcohol? Pancreatitis, gallstones, abdominal wall injury, and other less common things are possible. Your doc would order Blood work, Ultrasound and CT scan next in that order.
