HIV: Can you? Possibly, but I have never heard of anyone being infected via this route. Saliva is not a friendly host fluid for HIV virus. Next time be more careful, better to prevent than have to treat. Know that vaping is not harmless, and if tobacco is involved chances of oral cancer go up dramatically. Know also that virus that causes canker sores can be transmitted to you from contact of any sort

HIV transmission: This would be quite an unlikely mode of HIV transmission. However, vaping can have significant health consequences. As of 11 SEP 2019 The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention reported 6 deaths & > 450 possible cases of severe lung injury in 33 states & 1 jurisdiction related to vaping. The mechanism of injury is poorly understood at this time. Don't recommend vaping.
