Fluctuating recovery: Not unique to have a stuttering recovery, as optic neuritis improves. Steroids and ACTHAR have been shown to reverse the visual problems. Often optic neuritis is the presenting problem in multiple sclerosis. Trust your doctors are searching for underlying causation.
