Stop the benzoyl : peroxide and ask your treating physician for antibiotic cram or tablets to treat the acne.

Some basics: Each persons sensitivity to BP is a little different. Drying is common & usually means your duration of application (hours) is too long or interval of treatment (every day) needs to be reduced. Stop for a few days until the skin returns to normal & then try a reduced schedule, starting with shorter application time. If this isn't helpful see your doc.
