I have anaphylactic reaction to opiods. would i have the same reaction to tramadol?

Opioid allergies: Hi, Molecularly, opioids are classified into three groups: naturally occurring, semi-synthetic, and full synthetic. Tramadol falls into the fully synthetic group. If you have a reaction to natural and semi-synthetics, theoretically you should be ok taking tramadol, however if you have life threatening reactions, your doctor may not be comfortable taking the risk to prescribe it.
