NO,There is a : Potential interaction between Prozac (fluoxetine) and ultram .There is a risk of developing serotonin syndrome when the two medications are taken together. Serotonin syndrome can be serious and even life threatening. It is the result of high levels of serotonin in the body. Serotonin syndrome is characterized by having at least three of these listed symptoms: tremor, shivering, agitation, diaphoresis fever.

Unlikely: No evidence i know of that and there are significant interactions. Though interactions are the same there is evidence that Cymbalta (duloxetine) may help with chronic pain. Talk to your doctor about all the medications you are on and he/she can help you weigh the benefit vs risk of such combinations.

See below: Depression worsens the experience of pain. Prozac (fluoxetine) reduces depression and ultram reduces pain. However, there are better options if the goal is to treat depression and especially neuropathic pain as the other answers suggest.

Both up serotonin: There is a precaution about using both as it could lead to a serotonin syndrome--your question is interesting both raise serotonin--do you think they r helping?
