I got fluids in middle ear only been 3 weeks only 1 ear infection ear tubes not working i read they do nothing?

Expectations : Middle ear fluid accumulates & persists when your natural Eustachian tube does not drain the normal middle ear secretions. Ear tubes simple allow the middle ear to vent those secretions to the ear canal while any Eustachian irritation/ dysfunction heals naturally. As long as there is retained fluid it can become infected. They help infants more reliably than adults but for some they do wonders.
