What happens if one tube does not fall out, and it has been in the childs ear for 7 years now? she has started getting ear infections only in that ear

Remove tube: the tube in there has been there too long and is probably plugged .hence repeated infections on removal it will probably leave a scarred hole which may act as a tube make sure you get a hearing test after removal probably the reason why the tube was placed still persists your child needs ENT checkup
