Luvox CR: I have not actually prescribed Luvox CR as we don't have it on our formulary. I have prescribed Luvox a number of times but only for the treatment of Obsessive Compulsive Disorder. It is usually my preference with most medications to give a controlled release formulation over an immediate release. Immediate release puts out spikes of med, whereas CR releases it in a more measured manner.
