Maybe: If you are suffering from a clinical depression, then Luvox (fluvoxamine) may indeed relieve some or all of your depression. Please make sure you have a thorough evaluation of all of your symptoms, see your doctor regularly, and make sure all of your symptoms are tended to. Also, make sure you are taking a full, therapeutic dose of your medicines.

A/W Dr. Koenigsberg: You haven't told us what condition you are being treated for. Luvox (Fluvoxamine) is approved by the FDA for the treatment of obsessive compulsive disorder. However, it has been used off-label by some to treat major depressive disorder, PTSD, panic disorder and social anxiety disorder. if you have a disorder that may be impacted by use of an SSRI then use of luvox may be beneficial. Take care.
