Nephropathy: 0r kidney damage secondary to diabetes is one of the leading causes of kidney failure and requires aggressive diabetic/renal evaluation and intervention.Ifr advanced disease, dialysis is necessary. If not limit pritein intake and follow up with both a nephrologist and a endocrinologist.-can be life threatening.
