A member asked:

I have shortened and disrupted sleep every night. could it be hyperthyroidism? tsh level: 0.896 ; free direct t4: 1.51 ; t3 uptake: 28%

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Normal: These thyroid test results are all within normal range and therefore you don't have hyperthyroidism. Avoid late evening meals, avoid caffeine especially in the late afternoon. Don't exercise in the evening. Its best not to watch tv in bed. Stick to a sleep schedule. Google good sleeping hints.
