A member asked:

Cmia 0.07 non reactive at 27 days with drlal path labs is accurate or not. can a 27days negative fourth generation hiv result be reversed later ?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Unclear question: A negative test at 27 days after exposure does not rule out HIV. To be sure you should repeat the test at three months and if negative, get a HIV nucleic acid test at 6 months after exposure. Have a healthy diet, exercise, drink plenty of water, have safe sex, if you do, and get HPV vaccine. Wish you good health!
