A member asked:

At feb 2020 i have a risky exposure to hiv but 3 and 6 months later i do a hiv tests at lab with cmia method, the results are non-reactive, is his conclusive? are there any possibilities for my result to turn positive later on?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

See below: If the tests were done correctly and were negative, at 6 months after exposure, it is conclusive that you are not infected. To add a measure of certainty you may wish to get a HIV nucleic acid test. Wish you good health!
