Try Carafate first: Recommend that you give Carafate a try first since the other option is likely surgery. I often hear from patients saying that their reflux improves by taking apple cider vinegar. There is no scientific study to show that this works but I often wonder if the vinegar in these cases are actually neutralizing the bile.
