66 days: In a fairly recent study by Lally et. al, it took an average of 66 days for students to make positive health changes, so yes it does take a while, but it is so worth it! I would add an exercise like walking to your health habits also to make even more improvements in your health. After 3 months or so, these changes in your diet and activity will become easier, and you'll start feeling better!
